Jamie's Story...
If you're looking for a sweet young cat to call your own, then look no further than Jamie! He is a three year old domestic short hair who would love to be someone's best friend.

This handsome man has a few blemishes on his coat due to a mosquito allergy that is being treated, but he still knows how gorgeous he is! Jamie will let you brush his silky black coat until your arms are too tired to carry on. He also doesn't mind hanging out with other cats, and would be a great companion for just about anyone. Jamie is always looking for someone to pet him or for a nice human lap to curl up on.

He is up to date on all his vaccinations, including a 1 year rabies, FIV/FeLV negative and litter-box trained. This beautiful boy just needs a loving home to go to. If you think Jamie is the right match for you, we encourage you to meet this charismatic, young gentleman today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jamie, a Germantown Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
