My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lovely Lenore is a sweet, social 1 year old German Shepherd Dog mix. She was a stray who shelter employees fell in love with. Her soft coat and big brown eyes will capture your eye,but it is her disposition that will steal your heart! She is a snuggler who loves people. Lenore plays well with other dogs, is crate trained, almost fully housetrained and working on her basic obedience skills. She rides well in the car, is interested in chasing cats if they offer to run, but ok with them if they are dog savvy. She will make a nice jogging or hiking partner. She is a medium energy, settling nicely after exercise.

Although still a puppy in some ways, she acts mature in her attention to her people and learning commands. She is a smart girl who will do well in obedience classes or agility.

Lenore is spayed, up to date on vaccines, Heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
