My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Omar probably doesn't know it... but he's a very lucky kitty! I say he doesn't know because Omar has been "Mr. Sweet-Personality" all through the journey we have taken with him. We cannot know exactly how Omar came to have a broken jaw, or how he went blind in one eye, but what we do know about Omar is that he's absolutely "The-Little-Kitty-Who-Could".

Omar came to us on a freezing cold winter night. He had been trying to sweet talk himself into homes in West Philly. Luckily, there were a couple of animal advocates who were able to find Omar and get him off the streets and into foster care - thank you!!

It was clear that Omar needed some vet care, so we took him to Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital. He was seen by Dr. Rose, who would be his medical partner. Omar had suffered some trauma to his head, which caused him to go blind in one eye, and fractured his lower jaw. Dr. Rose wired his lower jaw, and six weeks later we had the wire removed.

Omar is FIV and FeLV negative, up to date with his shots, and neutered - he got the works! Before Omar goes home he will also be micro chipped so he can never be lost again.

If you are interested in adopting Omar, email me at adoptfosters@gmail.com, and expect an application process. Omar has won the hearts of so many people that we want to make sure he will be in a safe and loving home for the rest of his days.
