My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pearl came from a home where she was very much loved. Her human ran into some financial trouble and lost the home that Pearl shared with her. She had to make the heart wrenching decision to give Pearl up. The temporary home Pearl’s human found would not allow Pearl to live there. Purrs & Wags stepped up and took Pearl in. We’ve sent Pearl to the beauty parlor and got her a makeover. Taken her to the Vet for a checkup, vaccinations, spaying, and put Pearl on a diet. Pearl is overweight. She weighed 20.5 pounds when she first came to us. All that weight was hard on Pearls heart and bones. She was barely able to walk. Pearl has lost a few pounds already and now can romp, play, and frolic like she was meant to do. As part of Pearl’s adoption contract will be a clause that Pearl be kept on a weight reduction diet until she reaches a weight that her Veterinarian deems healthy.

Pearl is very affectionate & playful. She loves people and never meets a stranger. She is in a foster home with cats and has no problems with cats. She is heartworm negative, and on Revolution as a preventative. She is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. She is house broken. She will go outside or use puppy pads when you are away too long.
