Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stormy has had a rough life. He lived on the streets for a long time. As you can tell from that "before" photo, he looked like a cat who didnt have much hope anymore. Life had not been kind to him. We saw his potential. When we first got Stormy he was in rough condition. He was malnourished. His coat was rough. He tested positive for FIV. He was irritable and leery of us because humans hadnt treated him kindly. We had to build him up physically and build up his spirit.
In time Stormy came around. He has become a loving cat, who likes attention. We have come to trust him with other cats even though he is FIV positive. He is very passive and non-aggressive. He is housed with 3 of the rescue presidents personal cats and he gets along lovingly with them. It is amazing what good food, patience and a little love can do for a cat who was down and out like Stormy was. Stormy is very healthy. He has been in foster care now since 2013 with no health issues. He is on no type of prophylactic treatment. Which means his FIV + test results could be from the FIV vaccine. He could have received it in his "other" life before someone threw him away or he was misplaced.
Stormy is ready for his forever home. He will need to go to someone who is experienced with cat who are FIV positive and who knows that they can live long healthy lives. All he needs at this moment is someone to fall in love with him and make him the center of their world. After what he has been through, he deserves that.
Stormy is up to date on vaccines, neutered, FeLv negative, but FIV positive
