My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS DOG IS IN A FOSTER HOME IN PENNSYLVANIA.
Jasmine is a wonderful 11-year-old (as of 6-10-15) purebred Boston terrier that weighs about 20 lb. She is active, much more than you would think at her age. She likes to play with toys and other dogs and LOVES to give kisses to her humans. She gives all the benefits of an older dog. She's calm, sleeps through the night, is not food bowl aggressive, and in general is the sweetest little girl. She is long legged, has beautiful markings, beautiful soulful eyes, and an absolutely wonderful disposition.

Jazzy was given up by a very loving mom, who had to leave her with two bigger dogs. She sometimes got into scraps with those two dogs. She is living very well with two other Boston Terriers, but not sure how she may be with bigger dogs. She has no problem with the cat in the house, seems to be fine with small children. She is absolutely the best protector against mailmen and other dangerous people.

Jasmine recently had surgery to remove some warts and other small bumps, but all were benign and she is all healed up. She has a low-to-moderate grade heart murmur, but has no symptoms, so no medicines are required.

Jazzy walks very well on the leash and is a good walker. She is potty-trained to the outside and pads on the inside. She does not like to be crated. She is very responsive to her name and comes when called. However, she is an escape artist, so precautions would be in order. Jasmine is a wonderful, wonderful girl and would make an excellent companion.

Jasmine is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and is heartworm negative. To learn more about her, call her foster mom, Linda, at 717-368-8392. To adopt Jasmine, visit bostonrescueofsc.org and fill out the adoption application. Jasmine's adoption fee is $300.
