My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Papi is a very sweet 11 year old neutered Papillon X. Our rescue pulled Papi from a Quebec shelter after he was dumped there by his owners. Papi had 6 teeth extracted as well as a benign lump removed from his side. All this is a thing of his past as he is now enjoying his foster home with two large dogs and a cat. Papi gets along great with everyone but can sometimes be fearful of rambunctious dogs- for that reason Papi would love an easy going dog home, or to be the only pup in the house.
Papi walks great on a leash and loves his daily walks- however we do not let him off leash as he tends to trot away :)
Papi is eating a healthy raw diet which has helped his coat come back to life and clear his goopy eyes. We would really love to see his new family continue with his diet. We just did a full work up on Papi and he is in great health for his age! Papi loves to meet new people (who take their time) and is a real sweetheart who has never shown us any aggression. Papi continues to come out of his shell. He loves to run laps up and down the house jumping in and out of his doggy bed. Papi isn't much of a snuggler, how loves rubs and pets but doesn't much like to be on the couch or bed, he usually hops off within a few minutes. Papi spends his days taking short neighbourhood walks, LOTS of naps and sunbathing on the back deck.
Seniors are special dogs who have proven the love they have to share- please don't over look Papi...he deserves his new furever home :)
