My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Am I Bluuuuue? Yes, I'm Blue." Or so the George Strait song goes. It's a little confusing because my name is Blue, but I'm not blue. I'm not sad, either. Well, I was, but I'm not anymore thanks to my great foster family!

I'm nine years old and in my lifetime my owner got married, moved lots of times and added two kids (with another due soon) and I became a nervous wreck. I'm on some medicine to help me deal with all of the change, but will probably be able to stop taking it when I'm getting the attention I need. I have two other dogs at my foster home and that has helped me feel safe when the people are gone for the day (I was an only dog before).

I like playing with toys and am an active boy. I LOVE to play fetch, just throw anything and I'll be right back with it! I don't get on the furniture and can be crated if absolutely necessary, but I will tear up any bedding in there with me. My former owner said I was good with cats and I slept on a dog bed in their room at night. I'm in need of some leash-walking practice and am a strong 80#.
