My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tank has a very sweet, lovable and happy personality. He is quite the companion, but won't hog your lap, either. He loves to hang out nearby, accompanied with an abundance of dog toys. He enjoys stretching out on his dog bed, and then come check in with you periodically, just to give you a smooch. He is very independent and adventurous. He is incredibly smart, sitting for treats, and has even learned some bell training! He does well riding in the car and is treat-motivated, which will make learning new tricks a breeze.

Tank is still working on his potty training and leash training. He gets along with cats and other dogs, and will probably will do okay with calm, older children. He is good about leaving other animals alone when they don’t want him to bother them.

He will do well with a quiet, but active family that will take him along for daily walks. Tank is looking for a family that will take him through doggy obedience training and continue to socialize him with other dogs and animals. We ask that you research the traits and characteristics of both of his breeds to get to know what to expect with Tank's breed mix throughout his life.

L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic.

All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with Paws Without Borders and other rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee is $350 for most dogs and $400 for extra-large dogs (due to transport costs) and includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate.

You can contact us directly at info@dogdiggityrescue.com, visit our website at www.dogdiggityrescue.com, or follow us on Facebook and Twitter at @dogdiggityresq.
