My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sadie: 7.5 months: Activity Level: Active Companion; Tri Colored Collie Mix Rough Coat; Weight 49 lbs. Sweet Sadie has amazing eyes that take me right to her soul, don’t they just speak volumes. Fortunate for Sadie she was adopted as a young pup with what may be her brother from a shelter to a great family living in rescues home town Houston TX who loves her enough to give her the opportunity to be adopted into a better fit of a loving home. She loves to take walks and play with her people and toys, not so much the ball but enjoying the squirrels and bird in her yard is fun too. Sadie would make a great active partner for any jogging, long walks, hikes as well as relaxing, pleasing her people and strangers too and of course meeting new dogs. She is still at such a young age of puppy it can take her a few times meeting a new dog and off she goes into play positions and having a good time. It’s essential that Sadie continues her socialization and she really is enjoying all that life has to offer in her Adoptive Home. Tricks are super easy for Sadie, as she is highly food motivated and loves to please and show off even. She is crate/house trained, walks nicely on the leash, can enjoy long car trips especially for an adventure, very comfortable with strangers and guests in her house. She is so versatile that she can live in an apartment/condo, a suburban house, or a ranch as long as she gets her pup fun energy out; she will do best with older children 8 and up; a break during a longer work day. Sadie is fully vetted and micro chipped of course, for her adoption I have lowered our puppy donation ($300-$325) to open more opportunities to a new life $125, there is an application to adopt and home visit if applicable. Sadie will travel for the right home: Transportation can be easily arranged about $235 includes a Health Certificate/Required Fecal-this is not included in the adoption donation. Again this rescue is located in Houston TX with affiliates for Border Collie training/home visits help in OH.
