Are you searching for your perfect love connection? Well, wait no more! Mia has arrived in Prairie Village, Kansas and she too is searching for her forever soul mate! This exquisite, petite beauty is a perky, energetic, happy, playful, silly, and exceedingly sweet 8 yr. old, 10.6 lb. little girl who very quickly captures the heart of everyone she meets! If you are searching for an adoring velcro Griff who is sure to wrap her little paw around our heart, Mia just might be the one you've been yearning for!
This funny little girl has the most endearing habit of sticking her little back end under your foot for butt rubs. When she's ready to eat or wants a snack, she will not be ignored! She prances in the kitchen, grabs a food bowl, and plops it down in front of you, making sure it makes just enough noise that you will comply with her wishes immediately! Such a little character!
She loves playing tug of war and chase with her purple Platypus, running and exploring the back yard with her Griff foster siblings, and gets along well with other small dogs. She shows interest in cats as a curiosity or even a playmate, but so far the cat she has met will have none of that.
Mia's enjoys daily walks, exploring, and behaves very politely on lead (no retractable leashes). Because Mia is a known escape artist, and may take off in the blink of an eye to check out new sights and smells, she must always be on lead when not within the safe confines of secure 6 foot privacy fencing because she is a very adept little climber and escape artist. It isn't that she wants to run away. She simply cannot resist exploring and will not hesitate to take of on an adventure if the opportunity presents itself.
Do your like snuggles? Then Mia's the one for you! At the end of the day, Mia will not be denied the privilege of sharing the big bed with you. Once she settles in, she does not move about, and allows you to sleep peacefully. She has the cutest little snore when she sleeps....not too loud....just very endearing! However, if you need complete silence while sleeping, Mia would not be the Griff for you, as she definitely would not be happy sleeping in another room alone if her snores and snorts keep you awake.
Mia is spayed, micro chipped, up to date on vaccinations, heart worm negative, on monthly heart worm preventative, and recently had a complete dental.
Mia is being lovingly fostered in a private home in Prairie Village, Kansas.
Please keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
