My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous guy is around 5 years old and he's as sweet as can be. He's a big boy with a big heart -- very friendly and easy going. Busta is good with other dogs, but he does not want to live with cats. He'd do well in a home with bigger kids, around 16 and up, just because he's so large and strong. Busta is a terrific dog, come meet him and see for yourself!

Unless noted differently above, you can come in anytime during our hours to meet and/or adopt! Our hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday's 1pm-4pm. No appointment necessary. Our address is 590 North State Road in Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510. We do same day adoptions pending approval. To obtain an Adoption Application, please copy and paste the following link into your computer browser: http://www.spca914.org/forms/dogadopt2015.doc or email Shelter@spca914.org. You may also visit our website at www.spca914.org or just fill out an Application when you get here.

Please note, we do NOT hold animals, nor do we accept deposits in advance. Even if you have discussed coming in to meet an animal or have an approved Application with us this does not necessarily guarantee you will get that particular puppy or dog. Also note, even if approved to adopt from us, if you have a dog(s) at home they MUST meet the dog(s) you are interested in adopting from here to ensure they get along before you can officially adopt. All Dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate) and come with a free 7 day Veterinarian check from a participating Vet!

High Kill Shelter/Southern Rescues, both Puppies and Adults are $350, All Puppies are $350 and Local Stray Adults over 1 year of age are $200-$350. Seniors and Lonely Hearts Club members are $75. Please visit: http://www.spca914.org/adoptanimal.htm to read our Adoption Policy and Procedures in full.
