My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chocolate Chip was found late at night just standing in the middle of the road. She was clearly asking for help. She had obviously been on the streets for awhile as she was dirty, matted and very thin. She was microchipped, however once her owner was contacted he said that he did not want her, that he didn't have time for her. When asked what her name was and he said "Chocolate Chip". When we first said her name to her, she perked up right away, she knew her name and she liked it! We told her that we were going to get her all cleaned up, vetted and fattened up and that's just what we did. Chocolate Chip is a wonderfully sweet and happy dog. She's 1.5 years old. She's spayed, up-to-date on shots and disease and parasite free. She's eager to please, knows "sit" and "come". She walks on leash, is house trained and crate trained. She's young, energetic and would make a great family dog. She does sometimes jump on folks when she's excited, so families with very young children would need to train her to not jump. Again, she is highly intelligent, so she should learn all of her commands quickly.

These photos do not do Chocolate Chip justice she is strikingly beautiful in person. This sweet girl is ready to have a family of her own.
