Here's what the humans have to say about me:
itan, named after the Marvel comic character, is one of the famous Phoenix puppies (that's momma dog Phoenix shown in the fourth photo here). Phoenix is a Mountain Cur and she is gorgeous. She produced 7 gorgeous puppies and given their close-to-death encounter they were all given super-hero names. We aren't certain what the dad/s were (they didn't hang around long enough to give anyone their names and addresses) but our veterinarian guesses that they could be mixed with Labrador Retriever. Phoenix and her puppies were slated for euthanasia at a high kill shelter. We stepped in and got her and her puppies out, placed them into a great foster home and now at 8 weeks, they are ready for their own homes. These puppies have been fully vetted, loved, socialized and provided with the best of care. Please note: These dogs are not suitable for an apartment. They need to have a fenced yard, preferably a privacy fence, and an active family to help them with exercise requirements. Titan is the only pup that Phoenix has that is brindled. At the moment the brindle is fairly light but it will darken up as he gets closer to 6 months. He also has the blue eyes that his brothers Loki and Thor have. He's a real looker! He is more wary than some of his siblings. He's laid back and can often be overlooked but he'll let you know when doesn't get his way! And he has the cutest little wrinkles in his forehead when he's concentrating on something. The blue eyes will probably fade or change but for now they sure do give him some stunning good looks! NOTE; THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF INTEREST IN THESE PUPPIES. PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION TO ADOPT FOR ADOPTION APPROVAL. THE PUPPIES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO BE VIEWED BY APPROVED ADOPTERS AT THE NEW BRAUNFELS PETSMART STORE THIS WEEKEND FROM 1-3 PM.
