Carmela's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Carmela's Story...
Carmela is a very well-trained boxer mix. She's about 70 lbs, in great health and approx 9 years old.

She is great on walks, car rides and can be left alone for many hours without any separation anxiety. She will also be very respectful to your home as she does not chew on shoes or furniture, but she will like sleeping with you in the bed!

Knows all her basic commands: sit, stay, roll over, she will even "stretch" on command! Not good with cats or aggressive dogs. She is a strong dog and best for a home with children over 10 years of age.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carmela, a Santa Monica Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
