My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

GIZMO is a 24 year old blue and gold macaw. He was well loved by his first family for 15 years. Then he was adopted thru Phoenix Landing by a nice family, but they ran into financial problems and moved. He is with us again looking for his next great home. Macaws will need several homes across their long lives, and Phoenix Landing will always be here for Gizmo.

Gizmo likes to say “uh oh” and “I’m gonna get you” - blue and golds have a great sense of humor. Gizmo LOVES to eat! Macaws need a high fat diet - and this does not mean french fries and pizza. It means walnuts and Brazil nuts, complemented by lots of fruit, veggies, grains and legumes. Gizmo’s pellet of choice is Harrison’s, which he likes to have available at all times.
