My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Laylo.  She first came into the shelter as a small puppy.  She was adopted by an older person, and, after she got bigger and bigger, she brought her back.  She hadn't bargained for the active pup that Laylo grew into.

Laylo has a sweet personality.  She loves kids and playing with toys.  She is active and fun loving. She is hoping to be granted her own golden ticket to ride to VA on 8/9!  She hopes to find a fun loving family that that wants a new addition to their family!

CHS is dedicated to saving as many dogs - and cats too, when we can - as we can from southern shelters, but we can't do it alone. It takes time and effort to save these babies, but it also takes money, and our funds are low. We need to raise at least $100 per adult dog or litter of pups that we transport to cover these costs. What isn't used for transport will be used for vetting or put aside to help fund our next trip in a few weeks.
