Here's what the humans have to say about me:
2/26 update: The very adorable Dancer is once again available for adoption through no fault of his own. Dancer is a sweet boy. At 6 months old, he is still very much a puppy and is still working through puppy issues like housetraining and chewing. He is an active guy and enjoys exercise. He gets incredibly excited in new situations (like the Vet's office) but when he is in his foster home he is relatively laid back for a young pup. He walks well on a leash and he does know the sit command; he is incredibly eager to please and should excel in formal training (which is a requirement for all of our adoptions). Dancer does best when taken out to potty on a leash. When let out in a yard he tends to lose focus on what he is supposed to be doing. Dancer is being fostered in a home with children, other dogs and cats and doing well with all! If you're interested in adopting, the first step is submitting an application at blackdogsandcompanyrescue.org. References and a home visit are required. Once approved, you're ready to start meeting dogs! Our adoption fee of $300 includes spay/neuter for dogs over the age of 6 months, vaccinations, and a microchip. Original post: Dancer joined BC&CR from a rural high kill shelter along with his mom and siblings. Dancer is a real lover. He will actually break away from his litter meets to greet people. He has been doing well with crate training and housetraining and has also been introduced to a collar and leash. Dancer is in a foster home with other dogs, cats, and children and does well with all. He would love to spend the holidays with a family of his own and will be ready for adoption the weekend of 12/6.April 22, 2024, 8:33 pm
