Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Skye is not a rescue, but her adoption fee of $300 goes to rescue.
Skye is out of two champion dogs, but was too big for conformation.
Skye was 8 in January, is black, a large mini (oversize) while she can walk on leash, she prefers a fenced yard. She has never been around children and will not be placed in a home with children. She, hates cats (thinks they are to eat), loves to bark at people until she settles down, doesn’t mind crated for a a couple of hours. she does pretty good on her housetraining, but if she needs to go, doesn’t actually tell you.... you have to watch for her signals.
She prefers to be the 'only' pet.
She loves petted, food (a BIG piggy), and is a sweetheart.... She cannot be free fed as she will eat till she pops.
Skye’s faults: she can be barky at strangers, is food aggressive to other animals and if another dog is in the home, should be crated to be fed. (has never been aggressive to us-but with a new person, may need to be worked with), doesn’t like cats, and has never been around children and I wouldn’t trust her near them.
