Otta's Story
I was living happily ever after until my human got sick and passed away. A family member took me to BARCS, that huge "shelter" in Baltimore, and I was terrified! One of the shelter workers felt sorry for me and decided to let me live in an office where I wouldn't be so scared. That's where Zelly and I met and became instant friends. He protected me by letting me lie on him, under him or beside him the whole time we were there. We're safe now and looking forward to going to our new forever home together.
