My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy! Caught you looking! My name is Gracie! Am I not gorgeous? I am a 30 pound Texas debutante that loves to cuddle and play! I am 9 months old. I’ve been with my foster family for a few of months now. I love being able to run in the backyard and play with my foster Beagle brother and foster Yellow Lab sister. They have helped me learn a lot, and I would love to have a forever-doggie brother or sister to play with and to keep me company because sometimes I get worried about being left alone. That is how it was when I was on the streets all by myself and that was really scary!I love learning all kinds of new things. I’m quickly learning some basics and socialization and would even do well with some agility training – how fun! I just want to make my new family happy! I get scared sometimes but can warm up if you talk to me sweetly and give me a loving belly rub I am happy playing with my toys or just hanging out watching a movie. I could also be someone’s walking buddy, as I am active, but not hyper. But still a little young to be a running partner only because my hips and leg bones are still developing! Oh yeah and I like riding in the car! I just love life! So what is my story? I was found on the streets of Cypress, crying and alone. My stomach was grumbling and I was really scared. I am blessed to have been rescued by my foster parents and my foster doggie siblings. I know I can make someone very happy and I still have a bright future. Can you give me chance to have a loving forever home? I promise to be a good girl!
She loves the company of our dogs and although energetic at her young age she isn't over the top. She likes and needs a yard to run and chase another young dog. This will help with her confidence to have a buddy and help with the energy and play that she needs too, when her active family is at work or school, etc. Due to her time on the streets she has some fear aggression when meeting other dogs but warms up quickly. We have no information on her inter action with children.
