My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Bentley. He is a blue nosed pit-bull. He is five years old. He has been neutered and up to date on all shots. Bentley was an owner surrender and was adopted when just a pup. He was and still is very cute. He loves any kind of interaction. If he is ignored he will come and sit on your foot or lap until you pet him. He is unaware of the fact that he is a large dog. About 8 months ago owner's living situation changed and he could no longer house or take care of his dog. For a few weeks his girlfriend was taking care of him but she could no longer do so when her father threatened to shoot the dog. Bentley was removed from a bad situation just to be placed into another. Bentley started staying in a warehouse. It was not the best living situation seeing as he really did not have a bed nor did he get any exposure to the world. It was better than the pen that he was kept in when he lived with owner. Family members visited him almost everyday and fed him and played with him. He was not taken for walks as much as they would have liked seeing as the warehouse was in an industrial part of the city. The guy who took care of him would sometimes bring him to work with him. The customers loved him. This was usually the time when he got to interact with others. Bentley also loves car rides and loves to go on long hikes. As much as it sounds, he did not get out of the warehouse that often. One day owner of warehouse decided Bentley could no longer be kept on the premises and took poor Bentley to Downey Animal Shelter in California. Family member then contacted us and where able to go and adopt Bentley from the shelter and surrendered him over to us. This poor boy is confused as to what is going on and would love a fur-ever home or even a foster home. If you would like to help Bentley please contact us as he is very urgent.
