My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Iris is a beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terrier -- both inside and out. She just wants to be loved and give love back. Iris showed up on our founder's country road and as a bully-breed advocate, she stopped to see about any ID tags and as soon as she pulled over, Iris ran to her in happy greeting. We looked for her owners but no one came for her.

Iris wants to remind everyone that she is a dog full of life and is not disposable! We are glad she found us because now Iris will become a socialized and trained dog, proving once again that Staffordshire Bull Terriers are awesome dogs and deserve a loyal family!

Iris is a high-energy dog that is very eager to please people and learn new things. She is house trained and crate trained; she's practicing basic obedience and leash manners. Iris would be fine as the only pet and is good with dogs her size. She is about 60 pounds. Iris is very affectionate with people and loves to cuddle. This dog would absolutely excel at dog agility training -- Iris can jump to the skies and run like the wind. Iris is seeking a home with experienced dog handlers, a secure fence and people to love her. No cats!
