Meet CHEWY in Rhode Island
We do not transport dogs out of the area. We ask that you live within 80 miles of the dog's location. We are an all volunteer organization and can only respond when a completed application is filed.. All dogs are adopted through contract.
Chewy is a tiny dancer! He is about 7 lbs, one year old and most feel he is a toy Yorkie....but I always add mix. He is too adorable for words. Can you even imagine that he was an owner surrender? He came into his foster's home with other dogs, big and small, and right away fit in wanting to run with them and play. A perfect home is one that with active kids and will engage him in fun play with other dogs, or fun activities....no just a little lap dog..he is way more than that, as he is still a puppy with a lifetime ahead of him. When he sees kids he just lights up! Chewy is not a biter or a barker, but will warn you of strangers. He loves the beach and having fun running around.
He is an easy dog. He will have his forever after now with a loving family. on children or cats but Hurry up this boy is a KEEPER......RARE AND HARD TO FIND... Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do NOT save applications, but you may put multiple names on one applciation. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted.
