Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rio is a beautiful boy with unusual eyes. Rio will need a kind patient understanding forever home. He was an owner turn in due to no fault of his own, his owners had to go to an assisted living facility and could not take him with them. I believe Rio is a bit confused and missing his previous owners and will need time and patience to adjust to his new life. Rio is around 50 lbs. He is utd on shots, neutered and monthly HW and flea/tick medications. Rio rides well in the car, could use a little work on his leash manners but does okay. Rio is good with most other dogs and is good with adult humans, he is not good with children. He knows some basic commands like sit, come and down. Rio is sometimes a barker or growler, but is not aggressive and he is easily corrected and he takes correction well and a firm no will get his attention. He likes balls and in particular a larger Kong squeaky ball. Rio is not food aggressive and takes treats nicely. He likes water and the kiddie pool. Rio went to the groomers and did fine although he was not too thrilled about it. If you are interested in this sweet boy and fill out our application:
