Sacramento- You may have seen Kula's story on Let's get Yolo Dog Home but almost a month ago this girl was trapped thanks to some savvy techniques and dedicated volunteers. She had been homeless for the better part of the year, living homeless in a field. Her stray hold is up this week and so it is time to start looking for a home for this sweet girl who has adjusted well to life in a loving home . She is the reason I started doing rescue, because dogs are amazing in their ability to forget their pasts and move on to be happy and well adjusted and not carry baggage (a trait I wish more humans had). So far she has gotten her vaccines, and heartworm testing done and we will spay her once her stray hold is off this week. She has done well in a home with other dogs and really just will continue to blossom.
