My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sometimes life is just not fair!!  Whipper Snapper and his BFF, Grandpa, were found roaming a neighborhood together and a witness reported seeing someone let them out of their truck and drive off!!  Who can do that to such adorable, sweet dogs??  Grandpa (the black dog) weighs approximately 12 lbs. and is between 8–10 years old.   Whipper Snapper (the white dog) weighs about 10 lbs. and is between 3-6 years old.  Both dogs rarely bark, know sit and come commands, and walk very well on a leash.  They have low to medium energy, are good with men, women, children and other dogs and they both LOVE TO CUDDLE!!  Because they are a bonded pair, they would love to find a forever home together.

Grandpa and Whipper Snapper are available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio.  Our normal adoption fee is $150.00 per dog but because we would like for them to stay together, they both can be adopted for $150.00.  What a deal - two dogs for the price of one!!   An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required.  Both dogs are neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and will be microchipped at time of adoption.   If you would like more information or an adoption application, please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com.

Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
