Pawley was brought in as a stray by someone who said she had spent a week at her home. I can't believe the family didn't help her! She was a matted mess! How could see even walk with all of the mats on her feet? When she was clipped to free her from her matted prison, we discovered that she was also very flea infested. Poor girl had to be miserable! She seemed to know help was coming, and she allowed all of the pulling, shaving, cutting, and messing with her without complaint. Pawley was taken to the vet for what we thought was a UTI and given medicine. They suspected stones, so there was also both an x-ray and an ultrasound. She was scheduled for surgery and there were no stones, but the bladder walls were somewhat thick. We had a biopsy and the return was no cancer. So this little girl is as healthy as we can make her and ready to go to a home. She is a waggy tail who loves attention and will be your constant companion!
