My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Pearl. I'm a two year old Yorkie/Silky..The rescue is not exactly sure what i am b/c the two breeds are so close. I am 7 lbs and very short. I've been told I was named Pearl because of my beautiful hair. OKYR saved me from a puppy mill. I am very timid and just now getting use to interacting with humans. But as soon as they start loving on me I cling to them with all my might. I'm getting really good at this potty training thing. A doggy door has really helped me out! I love playing with my foster brother and sister, but I'm just as happy laying around relaxing on a big ol' fluffy pillow. I am also comfortable in my crate. Sometimes I just like to go take a nap there. I love being loved and I can't wait to meet my new parents!

We do not adopt out of state unless we have a volunteer in the area that can do a home visit. New owner must be willing to travel to foster home to meet the dog.
