My story

The Eakas pups were found with their mother. She had made a home in a couple's garage while they were away on vacation! The pups were appx 1 to 2 weeks of age when they were discovered. They are now weaned and doing great. EST DOB 03/09/2015. Nine pups born to Sylvia!

Swiss weighs 26.8 lbs as of 06/2015. What a smart girl she is! Good with other dogs, and kids 10 and up. Very playful with other dogs and loves to run off leash!

Puppies and dogs are all up to date with appropriate vaccinations, and have been spayed or neutered. All dogs are microchipped. We use 24 PetWatch Microchips and they are registered to the adopter upon payment and approval.

More about this shelter

Wynne Friends of Animals came into existence when it learned that the City of Wynne was euthanizing over 800 dogs per year. The city pound was just a dumping place with horrible conditions. Funds were raised and money borrowed to build a new animal shelter which is solely run by donations, grants, etc. Since the opening of this shelter, we have decreased the euthanasia rate by 75 percent. We do it to help God's creatures and for the love of the animals. Our website and our Facebook page have testimonials, additional information, our list of adoptable dogs and more.
