Tess von Tessin is a gorgeous 5 year old German Shepherd. Tess has captured the hearts of our volunteers and we are sure she will capture yours too! Our beautiful blondie with the silvery coat may be 5, but she wants to let you know that she can outrun most of our younger dogs any day. A mid-to-high energy girl, Tess is game for anything: hiking, jogging, running errands, car rides, beach trips… you name it, she’ll be there! Tess exits her kennel excitedly, wondering what the day will bring for her, and might jump on the closest volunteer to give them hugs. She is a social butterfly who is great with both people and dogs, and her happy-go-lucky personality is what she is best known for. Tess is easily comfortable in new situations and will fit perfectly into any active home. Our affectionate sweetie pie will brush against you like a cat for more rubs and scratches. Tess is confident in playgroups and is usually up for a game of tag or just running around the yard alone. She often comes back to us to say hi and to get a belly rub, and seems perfectly happy to be in the midst of all the activity. Sweet Tess has a growing fan club at Westside, but what she really wants is a home to call her own. Tess is in a rescue facility in Los Angeles but can be ground transported up the I-5 corridor to Oregon and Washington within a few days after adoption approval. Tess has a $345 adoption fee plus $85 health certificate and transport boarding cost fees. These fees are paid to Westside German Shepherd Rescue in LA,CA. Great NW German Shepherd Rescue of Oregon pays $150 for ground transport to Oregon and Washington and will gladly accept donations for their costs.
