My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jackson is a Black Lab, with a bit of Shepherd in there, who is just barely over a year old and still a pup! He loves to play and having a playful canine companion in the home would be perfect for him. He seems to not have been around a large variety of people during his first year so occasionally unknown men can scare him. This is something that will likely be worked out with good continued socializing. Jackson is a great dog who knows many commands and listens well. He's also quite goofy and loves to snuggle up and get a good belly rub while he falls asleep. He would do best with a more seasoned dog owner who he can feel is confident and comfortable at the end of the leash when meeting new people in uncomfortable situations.
All family members, including dogs, should be prepared to meet Jackson at the shelter.
