My Name is Gabriel,
My eyes are blue but I can see :) Not only can I see but I will seek you out to love you. I will worship you if you allow me to. I will also keep you on your toes with my funny antics. I need playmates. I like to play but I would also be good as an only child. I weigh 19 pounds and was born on 10/27/2013
I am super social and love attention. I am also a toy hoarder and can be a little possessive over them. In my previous life I had a bad experience in a crate and cannot be crated. For any period of time. Ever or I will have a complete and utter mental breakdown. The President will come to your house because he will hear me all the way in Washington. Trust me!
You have to be an active house. Active is not opening the back door and letting me out. Active means we go places, we walk a lot, we play a lot and we always have weekend plans. I am young and active. I would like an active household. I have to be stimulated and keep my mind and body busy or I will not be happy.
I am simply going to raise your cool level, just look at me! Confident and strikingly gorgeous. What is not to love?
On the 1 - 10 Barkometer I can be a 7 if I am irritated or the doorbell rings, but typically am around a 2-3. I have a very high pitched bark that sounds a little painful. But I am not in pain. I am just made like that. :) Glass might shatter if you do not get me what I want so I can stop barking. If you let me be next to you all day and night I will never ever bark, unless you tell me to. I will snuggle and love you without question. I will sit on your head in the middle of the night to make sur you do not have a fever. Then I will kiss you and hope you take me outside. When we are outside I will run circles around you and bring you all the toys so you can throw them for me. Over and over again. Then I want to go back inside and sleep. See how easy it is to make me happy?
We do not know if I am related to a JRT but the energy level and some mannerism are typical JRT. Oh and I love to ride on a Golf Cart a Boat, a Tractor maybe if you do not let me get dirty. I am not a fan of being dirty. I love to swim, Pool, Lake, Ocean…give me a life vest and let me go!
I love everyone and knows no strangers...kids, people, cats other dog’s big small and even birds..! They of course need to be friendly too!
I love nothing more than be with my humans...I do not sleep in a crate, I sleep in bed with my Foster parents. A King like myself likes to sleep in a King Sized bed with Down comforters please...when I go to bed I will get under the covers and make a complete perimeter check around my human to make sure there is nothing under the covers. I do this ritual two times and then I will kiss you and go to sleep. I am perfect...I think that is why I am not adopted yet, people are intimidated. I love car rides, going to the park to the store...heck I just love going places.

1. Go to our web site and fill out an application. Nothing will move forward until you do. http://carolina-loving-hound-rescue.com/Adoption_Application.php
2. We will give you a call within 7 Days after receiving a complete application, please do not serial e-mail us, we will work your application in the order it was received. We also work these applications between our paying jobs, taking care of our animals and families. Patience is the key!
3. Once we speak to you and feel you are a good fit, we will set up a meet and greet
4. Once we meet and do a home visit we can then and only then finalize an adoption. Every member of your household must be present for this meeting
5. We do adopt out of state and will do a home visit out of state as well
6. We will not put our dogs on mass transport or hand off transport to get to your home. .it is your responsibility to pick her up. We will make every effort to meet you part of the way but that is not always possible.
7. All animals in your house MUST be spayed/neutered unless you have medical documentation preventing you from doing so. NO EXCEPTIONS.
8. Unless you have outside working dogs we will not adopt to a home with outside dogs
9. Fence is required for me.
10. Must be 25 or above to adopt (exceptions may be made case by case)
