My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gertie is the most adorable girl....she has a thick, lush coat, gorgeous markings and the sweetest disposition! At about 18 months old and 50lbs, she's perfect for any family looking for a young, active, medium-sized dog. Gertie loves everyone she meets but can be overwhelming for small children. Gertie is very sweet, but exciteable, so she came to Pen Pals to learn her manners so she can express her love for people in an appropriate way--she still has "puppy brain" but needs to understand that she's in a big kid body now. She is eager to learn and has a wonderful and social personality. Gertie is good with other dogs and cats, although she can be scared of her feline friends.
