Hi All, My name is Marshmallow (female Great Pyrenees, 5 years old) and I am looking for my forever home. Everybody who meets me loves me. I'm very friendly. I like other dogs, and cats haven't bothered me yet. I love to go for walks and I walk well on a leash, although sometimes I really like to stop and take in all the wonderful smells out there. When NorthStar rescued me I had a bad ear infection but my foster mom is putting medicine in my ear and we believe it's getting better. I weigh about 72 pounds, I'm not skinny, just on the petite side.
My foster family has been crating me when they leave. I hadn't been crated before so that's something we're working on. I don't necessarily like it but I am not destructive in it. I like people so much that sometimes I cry or whine when I don't see my people. We're working on that too and my new family may need to also.
I just need a place to call home, where I can relax and know I'm loved. My foster mom says I'm quiet in the house. Although I did get into their garbage one day, but it wasn't secured, what can I say? I am house trained, no accidents for me. I promise we'll have lots of fun together. BTW, I am used to sleeping in the room with my people but I don't need to be on the bed if you don't want me there. I hope you can open up your heart and home to me. 💜
