Rainey is a gorgeous, purebred, Sable plush-coated German Shepherd Dog, 5 years old, spayed and crate trained. Rainey has had a tough road thus far in life, but she really is just sweet as can be and deserves a wonderful home with loving owners, which is exactly what we intend to find for her!
Rainey is wonderful with people, as mentioned, she is a very sweet-natured dog who enjoys being around people. Since coming to us, she has done very well and socialized nicely with some of our other Shepherds, including her best bud, Bosco. She is a big girl, and can be quite playful with other dogs, but in general is just a big couch potato!
Of note, Rainey does not have the ability to bark. She barks, but no audible sound comes out, it's more like a whisper/cough noise. As mentioned earlier, Rainey didn't have the easiest path to get here and we believe a previous owner likely de-barked her. All the more reason we need find her the loving wonderful family she deserves!
Our requirements for Rainey is someone preferably with large dog experience, living in a home with a yard (no apartments), with no cats or small dogs in the house, and as with all of our Shepherds, no homes with young children (under 7). Rainey's adoption comes with lifetime training from Von Dubinhaus and we hope to find an adopter who is excited about training with her and helping her reach her pooch potential!
