My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We rescued Charlie from him from Garland,TX Animal Shelter. He had a terrible case of kennel cough, and we were afraid they would put him down. He went to medical boarding for a month to clear up, and completely recovered, but with the infection fast kill of heartworms wasn't an option. So, he will need to stay on HW preventative on the slow kill method. He is good with other dogs, but can be reactive if the other dog is reactive. We would prefer a calm home for Charlie. He isn’t sure about cats; but, wasn't responsive to them. He’s not ideal for small children, but absolutely loves to go for walks. He is very social and likes people. He is potty, crate, and doggie door trained. He’s the very best dog on a leash, and likes to ride in the car. Being a Schnauzer mix, he will need to be groomed every 4-6 weeks. He is a Velcro dog, so he follows you everywhere and wants to be with you, and loves to sleeps under the covers.
