Sacramento- Hal the Mal (aka Maligator or Belgium Malinois) was found as a stray when he was just a small pup. His finders thought about keeping him but quickly learned that an apartment is no place for a Malinois. He is about 4 months old, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. He is currently fostered with dogs and a cat. He is SUPER active, and needs someone who knows herding breeds and is committed to giving him the exercise and training he needs (and expect adopters to be realistic on whether they are willing/able to provide the large amount of exercise needed). He takes correction from the 2 lb puppy and the 90 pound dogs well and even won't be rude to the old cat. He has lived with children, but because of his energy he will not be considered for a home with small children. We are working on house and crate training still as well. With proper training and exercise (and time as puppies are hard) we know he will be an amazing dog.
