My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Mattie and I love to wear ties because they match my tuxedo so well. My owner moved away and left me behind. It was very scary outside- I've never been outside before. My foster mom found me and brought me to her house and I love it there, but I really need to be in a home with no other kitties because I don't like other cats very much. I'm looking for my very own human that I don't have to share- could it be you?

More about this rescue

Pet Rescue of Maryland is a non-profit animal rescue dedicated to saving the lives of dogs, cats, kittens and puppies. We are staffed only by volunteers and rely in the kindness of our community to financially support our efforts. We do not have a central shelter. All of our animals are fostered in our homes as if they were our pets. This allows us to assess each animal and help find the home that best fits with their needs. We treat each animal as if they are part of our family until they become part of yours.
