12/01/2015 - MEET SANIBEL!!!!!! Sanibel along with her brother Bradenton and sister Venice came to Big Hearts 4 Paws Rescue from a high kill shelter in South Florida at just 1 week old. All 3 puppies have the greatest personalities!!! They get good use out of their wee wee pads and have also learned how to use the doggy door!! DNA revealed a mix of American Staffordshire Terrier and Chihuahua...what a combination!! We can't be sure about their adult size because of the mix in breeds but we can tell you that they range in weight from just shy of 3lbs to just at 5lbs at 6 weeks old!! They will be spayed/neutered on December 21st and will be able to go to their fur-ever homes on December 22nd just in time for Christmas!!
