Cecilia is our little star! This 10 pound cutie is about 10 years old, but you'd never know it -- she acts like a 10-month-old with all of the bonuses of a mature dog. She's sweet, laid back when in your in the mood to relax, very friendly, and housebroken. Her foster mom says: "Cecilia is a wonderfully behaved dog. She is SUPER excited when I come home and she's a HUGE cuddler. She loves to be on my lap/touching me when I'm working from home during the day. At night, she burrows herself in my pillows (particularly between the 2 I sleep on) and doesn't move all night. She loves belly rubs and can't get enough. She's a leaper too! She hops around from the floor, bed and couch all day. She was initially intimidated by my boyfriend and still is little skittish when he first walks in, but after a bit, she's cuddled up to him asking for a belly rub. She knows exactly where to potty. She uses wee pads if she's in the house and has to pee, but always waits to poop outside. She doesn't like the cold weather and uses all her strength to come back home if she doesn't have to poop. If I pull her along to walk (when I know she has to go) she'll race home after she's done. She really likes wet food. I mix dry and wet still and she'll eat all the wet and pick at the dry. She's quite curious about new thing and likes to go sniffing around the apartment. She doesn't get phased or intimidated by other dogs on our walks, even if they're pulling on the leash and/or barking. She has a very playful side after long naps. Overall, she loves to be near me and if I get up, she perks up and sometimes follows me just to see what I'm up to. She is a great companion!"
