This dog has no name how sad is that. He had a sad life so far and we hope it change it soon. He is really sweet and looks like he is depressed all the time (lack of love). So we are just going to call him Sad till his new family makes him happy and gives him a deserving new name.
Sad had one home his entire 8 years in a really bad part of the city before he was surrendered to a shelter in Philly. There is nothing wrong with the dog, the owner just decided they didn’t want him. It looks like they did not do much with him as far as socializing with all dogs. He likes small dogs but afraid of the big ones. Even though his people did not do right by him Sad still maintains a sweet disposition and is loving to all people he meets.
Sad got adopted from the shelter but now sadly the new owner decided she does not want him either as he drools. Can you believe that! MOST Hounds do drool. But her kind friend took pity on the dog and convinced her to keep him a little longer as if he is returned to the shelter he will most lively not get a second chance at adoption. So she got in touch with our rescue to help him find a good home. If Sad does not find a home soon sadly he will be taken to the shelter again.
Sad is being fostered in Phoenixville, PA.
Sad is a very loving and mellow dog who will make a great companion for any family. Please consider adopting this sweet dog and make him happy just in time for Christmas.
