Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Liebchen is a lovely girl of 3 years. She barely missed being euthanized by about an hour! We had someone get her out of the high-kill shelter in just the nick of time. She is so sweet! Enjoys riding in the car too. And she is curious about her surroundings and appears to be okay with all the changes in her situation. She is being boarded at the moment and is doing well with the other dogs around her. She does need leash work, she is a very, very strong puller. But otherwise she appears to do well, lays down nicely and waits at the vet's office and seems to be accepting of everyone around her. She seems to really like people and to trust them. Although the loud kennel noises are probably a bit overwhelming for her right now. She has been around teens and is fine with them and little children as well. She has been cat tested and ignores indoor cats but will bark at a cat when it's outside. Leibchen's name is very appropriate, because she is indeed a little love! She is underweight right now, could use about another 10 pounds on her. With good nourishment that will happen and her coat, which is a bit rough right now, will soften up and gain luster. With good nutrition and some TLC she will be a real show stopper! Leibchen is heartworm negative, spayed, current on vaccines, she's been examined by our veterinarian and deemed healthy to enter our adoption program. The third photo of Liebchen is her "mug shot" from the high kill shelter.
