This is Rocky, and like his movie namesake, he's a survivor. He was found by animal control, underweight and living on the streets. When taken in by ResQ, he was under 18 lbs (he should be 24), but is gaining steadily on a good diet. Rocky is a standard size Rat Terrier at 16 inches tall. He is housetrained and crate trained, and likes riding in the car. He is friendly and curious about everyone he meets, and also likes dogs and gets along with cats. At 2 years old, he's playful and energetic. Since he sometimes forgets his manners and jumps on people, he might be too much for very young children to handle, but older children will enjoy his exuberance. He is learning basic commands, and always wants to please. Rocky's favorite activity is to walk, walk, walk! He's never too tired to be on the go, but also loves to snuggle and be petted. Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $150. Puppies under six months are $175.
