Bucky is a fun-loving little guy who is learning to trust humans again. Bucky was one of the Rockport 9, who were unfortunate enough to belong to a backyard breeder in south Texas who neglected her dogs. When Bucky arrived into fostercare, he was in terrible physical shape. He has now completed heartworm treatment and is ready to start looking for his new home. He is crate trained and doing well with his house training. Bucky is becoming socialized very quickly, but needs a home where he will be given time to adjust to new surroundings, as he will probably always be fairly shy. Bucky still needs to be leash trained, but we will start working on that! Bucky has long legs, is about 2 to 4 years old, and weighs 11 pounds. He is submissive and quiet, and just wants someone to love him, that's all. His favorite thing to do (besides eat Milkbones) is to sit on your lap and lick your nose.
