Faith has been adopted! -- Please look at our other Rat Terriers awaiting homes!


Faith is 6 years old and weighs 14 pounds. She is 14 inches tall at the shoulder. Her original owners left her at the local shelter and reported that she was not getting along with the other dog in her house. Since she has come into foster care, she has been exposed to other dogs in her foster home and at the dog park and has not shown any aggression or alpha tendencies, nor does she have any issues with the somewhat-bossy male Rat Terrier in her foster home. She is calm and polite when meeting other dogs. We have not yet observed Faith with cats. Faith is very friendly with people and has wonderful house manners. She is very quiet, even when someone knocks at the door. Faith enjoys the backyard at her foster home and likes to nap in the sun, but prefers to be inside if that is where her foster family is. She is crate trained and sleeps quietly all night. She feels comfortable in her crate and goes there often during the day to nap. Faith also likes to snuggle and will follow her foster family around. She is housetrained and will wait to be invited up onto the furniture. Faith’s foster mom is still trying to find the right toy to get her excited.
