My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toodles is a 6 year old chihuahua, spayed, female. Miss Toodles came to Rutherford Rescue Ranch with her
sister, Tink, and brother, Timmy.The three chihuahuas we part of a family for their entire lives and were very much loved by their mom. The trio unfortunately were unable to stay in their home due to family problems that were not suitable for the dogs any longer. Their mom made the tough decision to surrender her beloved dogs to rescue in order for them to have a better life. Toodles is VERY friendly and loves to have snuggle time.
Toodles is crate trained AND her previous owner stated that she is potty trained... we have found this to be true! Toodles was carrying some unwanted pounds, she has lost 3 lbs here at RRR and would like a family that is able to portion her food appropriately and maybe take some short walks.

Toodles is heart worm positive and is undergoing treatment that takes 270 days to complete. She is already 30 days into treatment. We do not want to keep Toodles from her forever home, so we have made her available as a foster to adopt dog in the Pittsburgh area. RRR already has a plan in place with a veterinarian and RRR will cover the cost of Toodles' treatment plan with our veterinarian.

While Toodles is enjoying herself at the RRR she is looking for a furever home... could it be yours?
