My story

IMPORTANT: The Nature Network Inc. is a small 501c3 non-profit no-kill organization. Most animals we rescue are abandoned at the pound, who no one wants--seniors and special-needs. 100% of all funds are used for them—extensive veterinary and medical costs, prescription meds, rehab, special foods, supplements, and more.

Below, under our The Nature Network CONTACT INFO you can find a “DONATION” link.

We are deeply grateful for help. To meet us, help us, or if you know people or businesses who would like to, please contact us at:
theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (Also our PayPal Giving email address for donation and sponsorship).

Mailing: The Nature Network Inc., 3826 Grand View Blvd., #66790, Los Angeles, CA 90066.
We are not like many larger non-profits who use up to 90% of all funds on expensive advertising, enormous salaries, social media, and human expenses.
Our veterinary references are available upon request.

Loving and sweet FAITH has been abandoned in kill shelters and by rescues four times!
She needs sponsorship and is not adoptable at this time.

Lovely pup Faith lives up to her name, as she has not only been dumped in a kill shelter twice but has also been let down by rescues and abandoned twice. Without the help of loving, understanding people, Faith had no hope of making it to the forever home she has waited for, for over two years.

Poor Faith has been let down by rescues more than once. Two years ago Faith was dumped in Downey high kill shelter by her previous owner. She was covered in bite wounds. She was possibly used as bait for fighting dogs. She was rescued in May 2013 but was just dumped and left for several months in a boarding kennel and received no help during all that time for her issues. Faith is dog reactive and dog defensive, after her past ordeals. A new rescue stepped in and contacted a wonderful rescue/animal advocate who is a trainer and trains rescue dogs.

After she had received her training & socialization, Faith's rescue then adopted her out, but she was cruelly dumped back into the shelter system! Thankfully the rescue/animal advocate who had trained Faith, found her in the shelter and rescued her as her previous rescue made no steps to re-rescue her, even after knowing Faith was back in the shelter system.

Faith loves people and is very affectionate and trusting, amazingly. Faith is now under the care of her animal advocate/trainer. Boarding fees are building and her training and socialization are progressing well. We need to set Faith up for success and give us time to find her either a wonderful only-dog foster home or an equally suitable loving & understanding forever home for such a sweet pup.

Please consider adopting, fostering, or being a sponsor for lovely Faith. Dogs like Faith cannot be saved without your help. Faith is around 3-4 years old, spayed, vaccinated, and healthy. Thank you for any help you can provide for Faith.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

After completing an adoption application, speaking by telephone, and coming to see our pet (if qualified), we will visit your home. If qualified, we bring our pet for a two week trial period with an application and contract.

Go meet their pets

Our adoptable pets are boarded at kennels, veterinarians, foster homes and our friends' and family's homes. We sometimes also take part in Best Friends and Animal Planet adoption events. We recommend calling us to discuss your adoption needs. If it sounds like you would be happy and the pet would be happy, we can arrange for everyone to meet. See our organization's info about our plans to purchase our dream animal sanctuary and humane education center---but not without your help.

More about this rescue

The Nature Network Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit no-kill federal tax exempt organization, publicly supported and existing entirely with the generous help of animal loving people. 100% of all donations are used directly for rescued animals. No expensive advertising, so salaries, no human "expenses". We rescue mainly special-needs and senior dogs, cats, horses, other domestic pets, birds, and wildlife, mostly on their last day of life from Los Angeles area pounds, and we work with local wildlife rescue organizations to save wildlife and birds (injured or orphaned). We love animals very much, and feel there can never be enough help for all animals in need, or enough loving homes or enough birth control for the domestic ones. We are currently seeking grants, donors and sponsors to purchase the animal sanctuary and education center we have found for the Nature Network in the Valley area of Los Angeles. We are preparing to again produce and host a previously award winning television show about the rescue and protection of domestic and wild animals and preservation of natural habitats. More information to come soon. Our website, www.thenaturenetwork.org is currently under re-design, and will be up and active soon.
