My name is Blitz and I am just about a 3 month old Nordic rescue baby!
I was flown in from Nunavut by some very kind ladies along with my brother Baffin where when we landed in Montreal we joined the CAA Rescue Family in foster care
So now I find myself with lots of people, doggies of all sizes and two cats!
Foster mummy says I am super smart and will make someone special very happy!
I am clean in my foster home for now but the move to my new home with my new family may set me back in my potty training so if you are considering me for adoption you should be prepared for this! So if any accidents happen in your home please find a news paper, roll it up and spank your own bottom for not being mindful of my subtle signals!!!
I think I am going to be a big boy! My mom was a boxer and while no one seems to be really sure about who my dad is but it is rumored that he is a big solid black husky!
I have been left alone for up to 6 hours and there were no issues other than some puppy crying – it was on and off and not excessive but I did miss my foster mummy and would prefer a home where my family is there often so that I do not start to develop too much anxiety from being left alone at such a young age!
I am a typical baby – everything must be inspected with my mouth!!! I need a family who will take the time and be devoted to my training to teach me how to be an awesome canine citizen. Ideally at this time that family has no children under the age of 10 years old
The more you bring me out and socialize me now the more and more I will get used to all kinds of places, people and things! I am a blank slate and it is up to you to fill me up with all the good things a doggie should be
I am not leash trained yet; this is an ongoing work in progress that you will have to continue
To bring me home there will be adoption fee. The adoption fee covers all my vetting: vaccinations including rabies, three different dewormings, neuter and micro chip at Animal 911 vet in Roxboro; my new family will have to make the remaining two visits. I will be neutered and micro chipped prior to adoption
A 3-Step process to adopt one of our foster dogs.
1. Fill the adoption form. It might seem long, but it’s the best way to find the right dog for you and your family!
2. We’ll arrange a meeting with the foster family of the dog you want to meet so you can see if s/he’s the right one for you.
3. If you decide to move forward, you’ll be asked to agree to a home visit, fill-in and sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.

Adoptive family will be required to make these future appointments scheduled by CAA Rescue around your availabilities
