My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in adopting Cody in Grenada, Mississippi, please fill out our adoption application on our website at www.brusselsgriffonrescue.org or contact Lynne at clynnerussell@yahoo.com

Cody is a 15 lb., 6 yr. old belge Brussels Griffon. He was found in a Florida shelter and was sprung just in the nick of time. He was a loved member of his family until his mom passed and then was thrown out in the back yard for 2 years with no one. When he first came to us he was heartworm positive but he successfully completed his treatment and is ready to meet his new family.

Cody is very smart and has already learned to respond to about 10 words. He loves to play with toys and to chew on bully sticks. He enjoys snuggling and getting his neck and belly rubbed! He has bonded to his foster mom and loves giving her kisses! He doesn¹t let her get out of his sight and snuggles close with her in the big bed at night.

Cody plays and gets along well with his (dog) foster brothers and sisters. He would be great in a single or multiple dog home. Cody is potty trained (although might have an accident once in a while), leash trained, neutered, and up to date on his shots. His foster mom wants you to know that this laid back young man never meets a stranger and loves everyone! He will happily greet everyone in the house for a little love, but will not over stay his welcome. Everyone that meets him cannot believe how sweet he is. He is a great dog!!

Cody wants to know if you are good at giving neck and belly rubs? What are you waiting for?

Cody is being fostered in Grenada, MS.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
